Shrink Wrap Contract

Shrink wrapping your oputdoor furniture can be an easy, hassle-free and cost-effective alternative to indoor storage options. As you prepare for your shrink wrap appointment, please keep in mind that:
• cushions must be stored inside and will not be shrink wrapped with your furniture frames
• umbrellas must be stored inside or covers removed to be included in the shrink wrap
• frames, furniture and slings should be clean and free of mildew. If you choose not to clean your furniture before wrapping. we are not responsible for the dirt and mildew that may develop through the course of the off-season. Mildew is a living organism that grows on materials covered with dirt.
• we do not take appointment time requests for the day of your shrink wrap. We must have access to your furniture the whole day of your scheduled date as delivery routes detirmine whether you are AM or PM.
• For safety purposes, our team will not climb ladders to gain access to deck areas.
• Outdoor kitchens will be approved on a case by case basis. We must detirmine if we are able to safely secure the shrink wrap around the outdoor kitchen.

This year, 2020, is the 74th year that Seashore Ace has been in business. Seashore Home Supply, an appliance and home supply store, was started in 1946, by Spike and Etta Fisher. They knew Stone Harbor would be a great town to raise a family and operate a business. They also knew that meeting the needs of their customers and community would make their business successful.

During the 50's and 60's the store changed as the market and town changed. Seashore Home Supply joined True Value and became known as Seashore True Value. The store expanded several times and the product mix changed, emphasizing housewares, hardware, beach supplies and a small amount of outdoor furniture.

The 70's and 80's were an exciting time for the Seashore True Value. In 1972, Jim Fisher joined the business and brought new ideas and enthusiasm to the store. The store continued to expand and in 1984 the 2nd floor Deck and Dock shop was built. This signaled the start of our becoming a major outdoor furniture retailer in the Cape May County area.

Mark Gittle joined the business in 1988 as Store Manager and 1989 Joey Fisher also came onboard as the S.O.B. (Seasonal Outdoor Buyer.) 1990 was the most dramatic year since the business started. It was then that Joey and Jim decided to demolish the original part of the store and build a modern building. The store expanded it's hardware, houseware and outdoor furniture lines, making it the largest store on the 7- mile beach. The outdoor furniture continued to increase with more high quality furniture lines to become a major highlight of the store.

In 2000 Scott Fisher, 3rd generation, started working full time in the store. 2001 saw the store change co-op from True Value to Ace Hardware and the second floor continued to expand. We added Benjamin Moore Paint in 2008 and completely remodeled the 2nd floor showroom, adding new lines like Brown Jordan and Tuuci Umbrella.

We continue to evolve with the creation of a new shop online site, as well as always finding new lines while holding on to all of your favorites. Please come visit us soon.
